I'm Laura, a veteran marketer with well over a decade of social media and influencer campaign experience for brands like Macy's, Barilla, Lexus, and Hilton.
I created kindred out of a hunch that the same influencer marketing tactics I'd been deploying to grow brands and businesses could be just as transformative — maybe more so — in the public sector.
Over the past year I've been putting that hunch to the test. I've run successful campaigns for Ohio public health organizations, built a growing network of trusted community voices across the state, and developed a approach to community-based outreach that goes well beyond traditional influencer marketing.
Kindred is rooted in my long and firmly-held convictions about the power of authentic, people-centered marketing — and my belief that those same tools can move people on the issues and causes that actually matter.
